Baka Beyond

Originally inspired by guitarist Martin Cradick and singer Su Hart's visits to the Baka Forest People in Cameroon, Baka Beyond boasts a unique blend of African and Celtic influences to create a completely innovative world fusion music sound.  Comprised of musicians from 6 countries in the Celtic fringes of Europe and the West Coast of Africa, Baka Beyond has released 7 albums and toured extensively throughout the world to share their passion and energy with thousands of audiences at festivals, performing arts centers and clubs.  Their motto “the spirit of the music lives in the rhythm” is evident in their performances as strong African beats underpin Celtic and Gaelic melodies producing fast yet gentle rhythms that are utterly infectious.
